Every year, the FIDO Alliance hosts the Authenticate conference, to focus on passkeys and their adoption in the enterprise.

This year, Authenticate is going beyond the world of passwordless authentication, and venturing into what's next - fine-grained authorization.

Our focus at the conference will be on getting the word out about OpenID AuthZEN - an effort to create standards in the authorization world, which will be just as impactful as OpenID Connect was for universal authentication.

We will participate in three sessions:

• Monday at 2-2:50pm PDT: AuthZEN: Standards for modern authorization: I'll lead a panel with Atul Tulshibagwale (CTO SGNL), David Brossard (CTO Axiomatics), and Alex Babeanu (CTO 3Edges) focused on why we need authz standards, and what we've built so far.
• Tuesday at 4-5:55pm PDT: Future of Authorization: OpenID AuthZEN Interop Live Session: we will be testing all the AuthZEN 1.1-interoperable implementations, in a session open to anyone in the FIDO plenary. We believe we'll have over 10 implementations at this point, with more to come!
• Wednesday at 9:30-9:55am PDT: Read Out from the AuthZEN Interop Event: David Brossard, Atul Tulshibagwale, Alex Olivier (CPO Cerbos), and I will be presenting the results and takeaways from the 1.1 interop event.
